Batman Returns Batmobile
All those who watched the movies of Batman have been surprised with all the cars the movie present, some of them really incredible. And before the movie we saw all of the great pictures and draws in the so many comics. And all and each one of the batmobile were very special in their on time and season.
It is incredible how this car can still have much to say after more than 76 years, been its first apparition in 1939 in the comic “Detective,” but the first batmobile appeared after two years of the comic. There were a lot of great artists interested in building, creating, and designing the batmobile, so it was always changing its form, color, design, size, shape, and other little details. Finally in the 60’s we had the first batmobile on the shows of Batman. But just after almost 60 years Batman movies and shows started to film and everything, so in 1992 we had Batman Returns the movie. And from then we had so many other batmobile for each movie.
Brief history about the batmobile in special movies
Batman (1989) ad Batman Returns (1992) had one of the best seasons and the best samples of the batmobile, it was driven by Michael Keaton. The 1989 Batman movie was a great opening in the big screen after more than 23 years.
At that time Tim Burton was hired as the director of the movie and Anton Furst was hired as the production designer for the batmobile. Furst tried to combine the classic with a strong force, the car had two Impala chassis, and it was powered by a Chevy V8. It is interesting to point that the whole fabrication and creation of this car was in one of the best set of Mickey Thompson, the best seller of the best tires and wheels.
Furst tried to give the batmobile a unique essence and a very elegant design at the same time. It had a lot of little details making the car look as the batman car. The rear of this car had at the beginning a very heavy look influenced so much by cars from the 30’s. Inside the car we could find CD recorder, voice command recognition system, and more things that a car of the future would have according the creativity of Furst and their partners. The tools and all the gadgets were simple in this car, but they tried their best to make it very potent, they put special spherical bombs, disc launchers.
The batmobile had a central foot capable of lifting itself, rotating 180°. It had the most comfortable and heavy armor cocoon. It had the best oil stick dispensers, the most efficient smoke emitters, and a great Batmissile. This Batmissile destroyed the car, so it had to be rebuilt again. This car was very popular awhile the movie and until the fans had enough of it. This great car was used in so many comic books about cars, and surely it was an inspiration for the animated series of Batman. Without doubt the batmobile was the most important and the most popular of all the times of Batman.

The well-known comedian Jeff Dunham bought the most amazing batmobile, it is very interesting that he used this car to go out with family and friends, and he even bought gas in public gas stations.
Since the batmobile was scanned to make batmobile toys, so they could have the same form, design and symmetrical fins as the original.
For order of the director of the movie Batman, Tim Burton, the batmobile has some green in the black color of the car, so it could see more alive in the screen according to the Director.
This car was inspired by the Salt Flat racing cars from the 50’s.
Almost each movie had their own batmobile, especially for the movie of Batman Forever (1995), Batman & Robin (1997), and the batmobile for Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), and The Dark Knight Rises (2012).
