Aviation
Here you can learn more about the story of each plane. Visitors will enjoy seeing the largest collection of commercial and military aircraft. Visitors can see in Auckland Transport Museum aircraft of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, such as de Havilland Mosquito and the modern Skyhawk and Aermacchi. Aerospace CT-4A Air trainer - The first New Zealand built aircraft to fly around the world.

Everson Brothers Gyrocopter - Built by Ron and Ernie Everson 1961 – 1962 and towed as an aerodyne (‘glider helicopter’) by car on Muriwai beach.

Tramways
You can see and ride on trams that worked originally in New Zeeland and Australia. These are one of the most important things from Auckland Transport Museum. Mostly they are trams from the 50’s, they carried more than 200,000 people a year, and it helped a lot to mobilize people around. Some of the Auckland Transport Museum trams collection are the following:
Double Decker (1902). Brush built the six cars as part of the first order. In 1923, the Tramways converted them to a single deck before their withdrawal in 1948. The body is in storage, but is a restoration priority.
Dinghy. Similar to the eighteen 1902 Brush single-saloon cars on 4-wheel 21E trucks, but built by Auckland Electric Tramways Co at Ponsonby.
M Class (1908-12). The M Class was Auckland's most numerous type (99 built) running until the early 1950s.
Semi-Steel (1926). The striking “art deco” appearance of these trams, combined with innovative structural design, represents a significant milestone in Auckland's fleet. Designed and built in Auckland.
Military
The Auckland Transport Museum Military Collection exhibits the first Zealand military technology, plus military vehicles, communication equipment from many wars, all the existed uniforms, photographs, etc. Some of the collection are the following:

Auckland Transport Museum Road
Visitors can explore all the motors and vehicles they want, they can be impressed by the large number motors and collections. In this section visitors can find:
100 motor cars.
Horse-drawn vehicles.
Road building vehicles.
Motorcycles and bicycles.
Commercial vehicles.
Other items such as engines, tools, petrol pumps and car parts.
